Hospitality days

Last sunday was the end of the Bathurst festival.  Like each year, thousands of people gather across the bassin to watch the fireworks; I’m always amazed by the colors, shapes and reflection.  Here’s one from sunday.

L’Acadie en fête

This past weekend there was a photo/video shoot set-up for Tourism and Park NB in Grande-Anse, home of the Acadian lighthouse.  Michael Diotte was also there to take footage for the new upcoming show “New Brunswick Adventures” which will air on CTV around July 25th.

The lighthouse was repainted last year and flower pots were also added under the windows.  Ode à l’Acadie was there playing while all the participants were dancing and waving their flag, it was great to be there.  And if you ever go down in Grande-Anse, make sure to stop at the Cantine at the wharf.

Summer is finally here

We can now say that summer is final here, it’s great to finally be able to get out and relax on the beach.  Summer is great but it goes by so fast but at least we’re enjoying it while it’s here.  I’ve taken the time to go out a few times this weekend but like everyone else in warm weather… we’re outside relaxing or working around the house.  Here’s one for now taken tonight at Carey’s Beach Chalets.  Such a calm lovely place located in the Chaleur region in north New-Brunswick.
