Petit-Rocher

I just don’t know why I’m so attracted to this small little town, don’t get me wrong it’s a great place. It just seems like whenever I want to go out for a shoot Petit-Rocher is always one of the first place I go. It’s close from Bathurst and most of the time I head out late that’s where I end up.

This time I’ve tried a few different things, when I got there it was high tide so waves were bigger than usual. I decided to get a few long exposure instead of freezing the waves. Here’s one of the shot taken yesterday.

Cheers

It’s warming up

We’ve had great weather so far this spring, snow/ice is melting slowly and we’re finally able to see the Chaleur Bay water. We went for a drive in the Acadian Peninsula and took a few shots before sunset. It was like a mirror, everything was so calm, it was my first time seeing the Bay of Chaleur so still in the Caraquet area. The birds seemed to enjoy those little moving island.

Visit in Moncton NB

This past weekend I was down in Moncton for a little two day trip. While my wife was out shopping I had the opportunity to go out for a quick shoot, not that it was a good time for photography at 11am but it’s still photography.

Shooting that time of the day makes it hard due to bad lighting but I always find it challenging to try to find things to shoot having the lighting issue. This one is a little a bit abstract, it’s part of the memorial for the veteran in Moncton, NB right beside the information center.

It gives a W shape which in my point of view could stand for World War.
